Radical Dharma Camp comes to the North!

Game of Thrones is over, but CAMP is HERE!

After the amazing success of the first Camp last summer at Omega Institute in New York, Camp is coming to the northern territory at Hollyhock Institute in a 4-day format with more time, more deepening, more bringing the truth home with the RDfive Framework for Liberation.

Going beyond race training 101, Radical Dharma Camp is an immersive experience designed to gather and connect peoples already committed to implementing racial justice and anti-oppression interventions in their circles of community, identity, faith and vocation.

Together we take a deep dive into the framework and practices of a radical dharma approach to confronting white supremacy, racial injustice, and the intersections of dominance and isolation that keep us from personal and collective liberation.

We use games, exercises, play, and practice for you to:

•  Engage across lines of difference in real-time to learn skills necessary to move through the fears and resistance that limit your ability to act from love
  
  
• Understand the essential roles of embodiment and self-care to collective liberation
  
  
• Learn to apply the RDfive: Framework for Liberation to generate interventions relevant to your specific context and conditions
  
  
• Gain insight into skillful use of caucuses, congresses, and how to be accountable to “telling these times”
  
  
• Network with others to disrupt the arrogance of individualism and pain of isolation. Radical Dharma Camp rigorously challenges you to be present to how systemic suffering and injustice lives in you personally and within all of us in spacious, redeeming ways that invite introspection, wonder, vulnerability, accountability, and love.

LOCATION

We are very happy to be sharing Camp with you in one of Rev. angel's favorite places on Earth, the gorgeous campus of Hollyhock Institute's retreat center on Cortes Island in British Columbia. If you're coming from the US, the journey is over land and sea and sea again, and it is worth every minute of the trip to sequester yourself on this idyllic island in the Strait of Georgia north of Vancouver in the Salish Sea.

In addition to the grounding possibility created by being with comrades working to transform race in Radical Dharma Camp, you'll be treated to an exquisite experience of a beautiful landscape hugged by old growth forest behind you and the vast sea before you. If the hushed wooded trails and white sand beaches not enough, an oyster bar and nature experience await you during the course of your time with us.
