all-inclusive accommodations are on a beautifully secluded, living sanctuary of reforested lands that uses native Hawaiian plants over 70 acres to create spaces cherished by wildlife & people alike.
You will be greeted by the radical hospitality & generosity of the Hui Ho'olana retreat staff and your being transformation facilitation team.
COVID-19 Announcement:
We strongly recommend choosing to stay with someone you know, or is part of your pandemic "pod". If you do not ask to share a room with someone you know, we will assign you to a room with 1-2 other people.
Hui Ho'olana offers lodge & cabin accommdations. Lodge accommodations include 4 bedrooms with 2-3 people in each room. Everyone will have their own bed. There are 2 shared bathrooms with showers in the lodge.
Private Cabins:
The nearby private cabins are accessed by earthen paths in a quiet forest setting with about a 1-minute walk to either of the two shared shower houses. The outdoor shower houses each have 2 toilets, 2 sinks, 2 showers & an inviting outdoor claw-foot bathtub.
Unless you made a specific room selection, you’ll be assigned to either lodge or cabin room according to availability. You may request a specific roommate & express a gender preference.

The Hui is set in a camp-like environment, and facilities are not fully accessible for individuals with some types of disabilities. The natural inclines/declines and uneven surfaces require a certain level of fitness.
If you have concerns about physical limitations let us know on your application.
meals
You will be served three meals a day, beginning with dinner on your arrival evening, ending with breakfast on your departure morning. Meals times are: Breakfast 8:30-9:30am, lunch 1-2pm, dinner 6:30-7:30pm.
Meals are served buffet style in our lodge, cooked by a professional chef. The kitchen serves primarily chicken, fish, organic beef, local & seasonal fresh vegetables picked directly from the Hui Ho'olana garden.
the Hui Ho’olana is fairly accommodating to ensure that dietary needs are met to the best of their/our ability such as; gluten-free, diary free, vegetarian & other requests. They offer a low-gluten menu, primarily using spelt flour for baking.
restricted dietary needs:
Island shopping is very limited, we recommend bringing specific food items to augment your meals, if you have a restricted diet.
laundry
Island living necessitates conservation of electricity and water, so the retreat center is only able to offer guests hand rinsing and line drying for clothing during workshops.
Pack LIGHT & come prepared to practice minimalism.
Optional Services (limited availability) sound healing
gina breedlove offers private sound healing sessions on site. gina is cis-gendered woman, available by appointment only. Spots will fill up fast!.
we recommend 1month advanced notice, so we can confirm arrangements for you to receive sound healing, at the Hui Ho'olana. Additional fees $$$ required.

The Hui art gallery will be open for you to view beautiful art, clothing, jewelry & other souvenirs. In the event you want to bring a keepsake home, they accept cash or credit card for purchases.
